Vault Fee Structure

Vault charges a small platform fee on trades to sustain the protocol. Fees are always shown transparently before you confirm any transaction—there are no hidden costs. A portion of every platform fee also flows back to referrers in the referral programme.

How Vault fees work

Vault applies a basis-point (bps) fee on each trade. A basis point is one hundredth of a percent, so 6 bps equals 0.06%. Fees are deducted from the trade amount and are always visible in the confirmation screen before you proceed.

Network gas costs are separate and paid directly to the blockchain. Vault does not profit from gas fees.

Platform fee schedule

Swaps use tiered fees by notional size; Hyperliquid perps and spot use a flat rate. The platform fee schedule is:

Platform fee tiers for swaps by trade size, plus Hyperliquid.

Larger trades benefit from lower bps rates on the margin, rewarding higher volume activity on the platform.

Hyperliquid perps & spot fees

Vault's Hyperliquid integration (perpetual futures and spot trading) uses the flat platform fee per trade shown in the schedule under Hyperliquid perps & spot.

Fees with a referral code

If you sign up with a referral code, you receive a rebate that lowers the platform fees you pay:

Platform fees with a referral code.

Earning from fees via referrals

Every platform fee generated by a referred user contributes to your referral earnings. As a referrer you receive a percentage of the platform fee on every qualifying trade your referred users make—the percentage depends on your referral tier.
