The Vault Referral Programme

Vault's referral programme lets you earn a share of the platform fees generated by every user who trades under your code. Your tier (and your reward percentage) is based on how many active referrals you maintain at any given time.

How referrals work

When someone signs up to Vault using your unique referral code or link, they become your referral. From that point on, you earn a percentage of the platform fees generated whenever that user trades, across swaps and Hyperliquid perps & spot.

Your reward rate is determined by your current tier, which is calculated dynamically based on how many of your referrals are active at any given time. There is no cap on the number of people you can refer.

Finding your referral code

Your unique referral code and shareable link can be found on the Referrals page. You can copy your code directly or copy your full referral URL to share anywhere: social media, messaging apps, or your own website.

Referral tiers

There are four tiers. Each tier has a minimum total referral count and a minimum active referral count that must both be met simultaneously. Your tier is reassessed continuously. It can go up as you grow, or drop back if your active count falls below the threshold.

Active referrals

An active referral is a user who is actively using Vault. This means any activity that moves funds from their account.

This 30-day window is rolling. If a referred user stops trading, they will eventually leave your active count, which can cause your tier to drop. Active counts are recalculated continuously so your tier always reflects your current referral activity.

Rewards & fee share

Your reward is a percentage share of the platform fee Vault earns on every trade your referred users make. The platform fee schedule is:

Platform fee tiers for swaps by trade size, plus Hyperliquid.

Your fee share percentage is applied to Platform fees that Vault earns on each of those trades. For the full fee breakdown see the Fees support page.

Tracking your referrals

The Referrals page shows you a full breakdown of everyone you've referred, their active status, your current tier, and your total accumulated earnings. You can also see how close you are to the next tier.

A referral is marked as active once the referred user has made at least one qualifying trade within the last 30 days. Users who have not traded in that window are shown as inactive.

What do I get out of being referred?

Accepting a referral code will give you a fee rebate on all the trades you make, as well as lowering the fees you pay.
